What is a Bucket Scoop?

A Bucket Scoop is a specially-purposed tool that enables you to efficiently access all the drywall compound (“mud”) in a standard 5 gallon bucket when transferring to a mud pan, hawk or finishing box, thus reducing waste.

The scoop features a stiff aluminum shoulder and a stainless steel blade with a rounded edge that fits the radius of the bucket; this unique design enables you to glide around the sides and bottom of the bucket, loading the blade up with mud.  The tool remains rigid when fully loaded with mud and the potential for gouging the bucket wall while scooping is eliminated. This means no more surprise plastic shavings/contaminants in your nice, smooth mix!

The scoop blade is also bent to an angle so that you can easily scoop without the handle or your knuckles touching the wet mud.
