Automatic Drywall Taper Gooser Needle Replacement
When drywall taping, you might notice after a while that either your drywall tape is tearing or it’s not advancing as it should be. One small component to check is your gooser needle. The gooser needle helps advance your drywall tape and also prevents it from sliding back down towards your reel.
Replacing your gooser needle is a simple fix but be diligent in your final adjustments and as Robby and Scott show, run a small piece of drywall tape through after replacing your gooser needle to ensure that the tape is catching optimally before you get back to taping.
